Teachers and associates of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty have published 137 original and reviewable articles in journals indexed in bibliographic databases CC and WoS in last five years. This amounts to 5.07 papers per one teacher (only teachers with scientific-teaching titles). However, it should be taken into account that teachers/associates were usually more focused on publishing their research results at scientific conferences. The number of papers presented at international conferences in the same time is 221, what is a great proof of remarkable productivity of Faculty teachers (8.2 papers per teacher).

It should be emphasized that the ratio between the total number of published papers and the total number of teachers and associates at the Mechanical Faculty of Engineering, in the period 2006 – 2011, is the largest at the University of Osijek. Data were taken from the Strategy of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, 2011-2021.
